Last night, two staff members of the Israeli embassy were murdered at an American Jewish Committee (AJC) event in Washington, D.C. This horrific act did not occur in a vacuum; it happened against a backdrop of hate. There is no room for this kind of hate anywhere in America. We must speak up with a clear and loud voice that this type of heinous act will never be acceptable. We must be brave enough to say: this is wrong, this is dangerous, and this is not who we are.
