During their July 30 meeting, the Hingham Select Board considered a concept for locating a crosswalk on North Street, at the Hingham Post Office. The concept includes a striped crosswalk connecting two posts with signage and Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacons (RRFBs). Signs and beacons will be deployed in a way that will preserve existing street lighting.
