[ARCHIVED] Immediate Conservation Practices Required

In the interest of public safety and to curb the high demand on the water supply during this heat advisory we are requesting residents observe a restriction on all outside watering activities including but not limited to car washing, recreational sprinkler use, automatic irrigations systems or filling pools.  Furthermore, please observe basic indoor water conservation practices.  If possible, delay indoor activities that use large quantities of water such as laundry until off peak late evening hour.  Thank you for your immediate attention to these requests.

Water quality remains our primary focus.  In the event residence do not adhere to our request, we may have to enter into a Level 1 water ban.  Rapid changes in tank elevation disrupt the water system leading to discolored water and this time of year the irrigation of lawns and filling of pools the main cause of this disruption.
