Town Meeting will resume this evening, Thursday April 25, at 7:00 PM at Hingham High School. We’ll pick up with Article 22 and address the balance of the issues on the warrant. These include improvements to our water system, the naming of our new elementary school, enhancing cell phone service in town, along with a series of critical land use issues, including a proposed change to our Zoning By-law in response to the MBTA Communities Multifamily Housing legislation, which requires municipalities in the MBTA service area to have at least one zoning district in which multi-family housing is permitted as of right.
Please be sure to check in by 6:30, so we can start promptly at 7, and conclude the work of the meeting at a reasonable hour.
