To Whom It May Concern:
Weir River Water System, in coordination with the Town of Hingham Engineering division, will be placing leveling courses of asphalt pavement in Downer Avenue to temporarily improve the roadway surface.
You will experience travel delays during this time. On-street parking will not be permitted from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Driveway access may be restricted while work is occurring in front of your property.
Downer Avenue will remain open (one lane) for Northbound traffic from the Route 3A intersection. Egress from Crow Point neighborhoods will be from Otis Street.
During school drop-off (8:00-8:30 AM) and pick-up (1:45-2:45) paving will not occur across the three active school driveways.
Please seek guidance from available representatives (Police/DPW/Engineering Staff) that will be onsite during the work.
