This is to update the Town on the pool project at the South Shore Country Club. On September 7th the Town received an appeal of the two permits issued for the project by the Town’s Planning Board. The Planning Board’s permits were appealed in the Land Court by some property owners who live near the South Shore Country Club. The Town has requested expedited review by the Land Court, however, it will still take some time for the proceedings to conclude. In the meantime, there will be a delay in beginning the construction of the new pool. We will give you a further update once we know more.
