Citizen engagement is an essential element of what is special about the Town of Hingham. Today there is an opportunity to join a committee devoted to Hingham’s present and its future, Cleaner Greener Hingham. Established years back to focus on issues including long range waste disposal and the then nascent field of recycling, today’s committee addresses a host of issues to ensure our town’s cleaner, greener future.
As Town Moderator, I invite you to complete the Talent Bank application and return it to the Select Board office. I will interview all who apply and then make appointments; there are three openings on this nine member committee. You can learn more about the committee’s work by visiting the town’s website.
