On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the WRWS will be starting two small capital projects in Hingham and Hull.
Arnold Rd, Hingham - working with SitePro Contracting, Scituate MA, we will be replacing the undersized 2 1/4" galvanized water main with a new 8" Ductile Iron water main and adding two new fire hydrants. Work is to be performed on Arnold Rd from #434 Main St to #30 Arnold Rd. The water main is being installed by the developer working on Arnold Rd in compliance with the Town of Hingham permits and approvals. We anticipate this work taking about two weeks and upon completion we will be scheduling with residents to have their service transferred to the new main.

Harold Pl, Hull - working with Manet Construction LLC, Quincy MA, we will be replacing the undersized 1" galvanized water line with a new 6" Ductile Iron water main and adding one new fire hydrant. Work is to be performed on Harold Pl from Samoset Ave to the end of the street. The water line is being replaced to provided sufficient flow and pressure to the residents on the street. We anticipate this work taking about two weeks and upon completion we will be scheduling with residents to have their service transferred to the new main.
