Town Election News for the week of March 17th:
On Monday, March 17th, nomination papers were returned by:
- Sara A. Abbott, candidate for Board of Assessors
- Joseph M. Fisher, candidate for Sewer Commission
- Thomas F. Patch, candidate for Planning Board
The May 3 Ballot will include the following candidates and two races:
- Moderator (1 year term) Vote for One: Michael J. Puzo, candidate for re-election
- Select Board (3 year term) Vote for One: Julie Moran Strehle
- Board of Assessors (3 year term) Vote for One: Sara A. Abbott and Carlton Alan Chambers
- Board of Health (3 year term) Vote for One: Rosemary D. Byrne, candidate for re-election
- Municipal Light Board (3 year term) Vote for One: Michael D. Reive, candidate for re-election
- Housing Authority (5 year term) Vote for One: Timothy Patrick Sullivan
- School Committee (3 year term) Vote for Three: Alyson Baron Anderson, Matthew J. Cosman, both candidates for re-election and John C. Mooney
- Planning Board (5 year term) Vote for One: Crystal G. Kelly and Thomas F. Patch
- Sewer Commission (3 year term) Vote for One: Joseph M. Fisher
- Recreation Commission (5 year term) Vote for One: Adrienne F. Ramsey, candidate for re-election

Early Vote by Mail
If you will you be away, working or tied up on a busy Saturday, consider Voting by Mail. Applications are available and must be submitted to the Town Clerk Office by April 28, 2025.
In-Person on Election Day at HHS, HMS and Linden Ponds from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Town Meeting is Monday, April 28th, 7:00 PM, at Hingham High School
Plan ahead to attend Town Meeting starting on Monday, April 28 and reserve Tuesday night, April 29th for a possible second night. Visit the Select Board Current Warrant Articles for articles under consideration.
