Today is the deadline to apply to be part of the Town’s first-ever Local Government Academy! This new program will walk 20 residents over an eight-week period through all aspects of the Town’s operations, including administration, public safety, culture and recreation, permitting, public works, education, and governance.
Academy sessions will be led by Town department heads and staff, held on Tuesdays from October 1st through November 19th (except for Election Day, November 5th -- that class will be held on Thursday, November 7th) from 6pm – 8:30pm.
