On Wednesday, August 14, the Weir River Water System will be installing a new fire hydrant at the intersection of French Street and Hobart Street, Hingham. This hydrant is being installed to improve fire protection in the area and maintain the water system. Only one residence will experience a disruption in service starting at 9:00 AM. Residents in the surrounding area may experience discoloration and fluctuations in water pressure. This work is expected to take 6-8 hours. Please check your water before doing laundry.
