The Town of Hingham Engineering Department will be cracksealing and paving the Bathing Beach Parking Lot.
Cracksealing will occur on August 1st. We will work to maintain access to the paved and unpaved sections of the upper lot, closest to 3A. As the crackseal is applied, it will be tacky until it cools and sets, and may stick to shoes and paws!
A 1”-1-1/2” pavement overlay is planned for Monday, August 5th, to cover the entirety of the lower parking lot.
Parking lot re-striping will be scheduled upon completion of the paving work.
All scheduling dates are dependent on weather conditions and subject to change. Please be sure to check our Town’s website for any updates to this schedule.
Vehicles which interfere with this project will be removed.
Vehicle access to the Bathing Beach parking lot will be restricted during certain times while the work is underway. We apologize for any inconvenience.
