The Weir River Water System continues to evaluate the discolored water throughout the system. A significant change in usage on June 19, 2024 caused an excessive drop in the Turkey Hill Storage Tank which prompted increase flow from the water treatment plant to meet the demand. This change in hydraulics caused a disruption in the distribution system. We are working with operations team and our consultants to monitor the situation closely and remediate the issue, including strategically bleeding hydrants.
