These are just some of the potential benefits of building a rain garden on your property! Learn how to build a rain garden that helps save our water, uses native plants, and makes your property even more attractive to homebuyers and wildlife.
There are lots of resources to help you to create your rain garden. We will give away 50 rain garden seed kits from Blue Stem Natives. Enter to Win a Rain Garden Seed Kit here. (The seeds must go through winter stratification. If you can’t create your rain garden this year, you can store the seeds in the refrigerator until planting time next fall.)

WaterSmart is a nonprofit partnership between the NSRWA and 12 towns on the South Shore: Cohasset, Duxbury, Hanover, Hingham, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Rockland, Scituate and Weymouth.
