On Sunday, October 15, 2023, the Weir River Water System will begin our semi-annual Phase 1 hydrant flushing program on Whiting Street in Hingham. Over the next 4-5 weeks we will flush the high pressure service area Sunday through Thursday nights from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM to minimize the disruption to to our residents. All customers will, at some point during this program, experience discolored water. This is normal during a program such as this.
