In accordance with Department of Revenue guidelines, the Assessors are required to inspect all properties at least once every ten years. The Hingham Board of Assessors’ Office Data Quality Inspector is conducting ongoing cyclical inspections throughout the town.

Our inspector will carry proper identification and will inspect both the interior and exterior of the property to verify that the information on the property record card is accurate and up to date. The inspection typically takes only a few minutes.

The homeowner, or another individual over the age of 18, must be present at the time of the visit.
